I craft each bird bath by hand, impressing hand carved textured stamps inspired by cow parsley umbels. Every piece is deliberately unique with subtle differences in pattern and glaze, so no two will ever be identical.
This beautiful bird bath works perfectly positioned in the flower bed. The metal rod can be pushed into the ground to the desired depth.
Garden birds use it for drinking and bathing, I find that the blue tits and robins particularly enjoy bathing in it!
It is designed to be left outside all year round and is frost proof. When it ices over you can simply lift the bath off its metal stem, and run it under warm water (not hot to avoid thermal shock) to defrost the ice then pop it back outside so the wildlife has a fresh source of water. The birds will be grateful when their usual water sources are frozen!
The metal rod can be hammered into the ground (use a wood block to protect the metal) to the desired depth, then slot the bath onto the rod.
To keep your birds healthy, I recommend regularly cleaning give it a quick scrub with a brush and soapy water. Then slot it back onto the metal rod and refill with fresh water.
A good tip is to position it near a bird feeder to help the birds will find it more quickly.

Delivery: I charge £7 for postage and packaging. I aim to dispatch items twice a week. Birdbaths are packaged in a box within a second box to avoid any breakages. The metal rod will be packaged separately in a triangular tube. I re-use old newspapers for padding (donated by my lovely customers), and all the packaging is recyclable.
